my story takes place some years ago
i went to see the terrorvision show
they played alice what’s the matter and the song about drinking
the tequila that was flowing and clouding my thinking
i should have known right from the start
not to fall in love on a broken heart

i was just watching the band i couldn’t ignore it
then i saw a sign i thought so angelic
atop of her head was a halo
